I was discussing this with someone else last week (prices in Australian $$) Scope ($15,000) has 15 60MHz SHARC chips. Not yet available in Australia. Pulsar has 4 SHARCs, is about $2800, but you can buy a $2000 expansion card which gives another 4 SHARCs. Distributor Major Music Wholesale (02) 9545 3540. >What is your setup? There is also a hifi product called DAC-IN-A-BOX (encel in melbourne sell them) which isn't too expensive ($300) and will add high quality analog output to anything with an spdif interface (which will probably be better than anything with the DACs inside the 'puter). I havn't heard anything good about the creamware products - unless you have software that can make use of the DSP chips you'd be better off with a "dumb" i/o card. I'm using a Frontier Design Wavecenter (ADAT + SPdif analog + optical) + Zulu - Software, drivers and support have been excellent I bought mine from Mission AV in the states - much cheaper than the local criminals.
