Has anyone have data for interfacing a PIC to a DISK-ON-CHIP device? They are a 32 pin DIP device that looks to a (properly configured) Single board computer, as a Hard drive. We bought an i386 micro board from JK Microdevices and bought a 8MB DISK-ON-CHIP chip and upon boot up, the board recognised it as drive C: . Matter of fact, when we sent DIR C: over the terminal, it came back looking JUST LIKE a new 8 MB hard drive! Now, how to I go about getting rid of the i386 and interfacing to this thing? Any ideas?
