aaargh!  I'm trying to figure out which device to
use. Incredibly, I can't seem to find any sort of
part selector.
Is there somebody out there with a spreadsheet of the form
part #  #pins   RAM     programEPROM    dataEEPROM...

As a newbie to the PIC line it can seem bewildering.

If this doesn't exist, I'd be willing to make one as my contribution
to the 'cause', but I'd rather find an existing one.

yes, I know all the info is in the PIC 16/17 uCtrlr data book,
but it's not in a very accessible form.
