Sorry for the OT but being a poor hobbyist, you guys are the extent of my
contact with others of like interest .. so here goes.

I am in need of a text editor library for use in a Windows environment. It
doesn't have to do much. The main thing I need that a standard edit control
doesn't have is syntax highlighting. On the other hand, no telling what the
future holds so I'm looking for more than I currently need. The catch is
that my business is currently in a slump and my hobby budget is, well,
empty <g>. Seriously, I can talk my wife into paying for something just not
$100 - $150 bucks for the tools I've found so far. Any ideas ?
