People in this country need to learn how to drive >better, not be regulated to drive slower. Also they need to show a little I'm doing my part, in my country at least. Last night I took my 11-year-old daughter Becky out to the local kart track to teach her to drive (She has 6+ more years until getting a license). The first rule she had to learn was "Hey, new kid, keep to the slow lane so we can pass." Which I taught her by lapping her three times (same as everybody else). One time she ended up against the wall because she cut me off in a turn (there were lots of other racers there). I've taken my 16-year-old son to this as well. My wife will go with me next (actually, she needs more help in using a brake pedal. Her favorite accident is to rear-end some dimwit on the off-ramp). My son already knows how to steer through a skid. My daughter hasn't figured out how to skid yet. I think that the state would be wise to promote this off-road driving for our youngsters. Not only do they learn driving reaction skills, but it's great for getting the aggressive driving need out of my system! Really makes me hate my Rabbit - it doesn't have the acceleration of a kart!
