I received my (first) mplab icd today (have two more systems coming so I'll
get a chance to compare them later) and was both impressed and slightly
irritated because of things not working all that well.

Features that I cannot get working:
*verify
*eeprom modify, if I give a read command with just the eeprom box checked it
does a quick read operation. if I open the eeprom window or the modify
window and click read it starts this incredibly slow read procedure that as
far as I can tell only reads 00h but takes about 10 seconds per byte (and
256 bytes to go)
*id location programming

if I click on verify it ALWAYS fails on the program memory and always on the
configuration fuses, consequently I have to import to memory again, reset
the debugging mode reset communication.
