I grew to hate the 68HC11. It coded up not too bad, the Pseudo ICE would work sometimes BUT getting the wretched Motorola programmer to burn in the DATA was a total lottery. We even bought a different programmer... no difference. We never got to the bottom of the problem and MOTOROLA didn't help. Since changing to the PIC.. development hassles have been limited to the clown behind the keyboard. .... and a few Oscillator start up problems. Lance Allen Uni of Auckland New Zealand
