That's your problem, Nick. You need to add in just a little Cosmolene, 3:1 is good, that way the WD-40 mix will lubricate & preserve better. A 3:1:4 mix of those two with a good Moly DiSulphide heavy axle grease works well also, and doubles as sunscreen should THAT unusual weather happen - Please remember, you didn't hear THAT 'state secret' from me (Interestingly, you can buy Paraffin hot tanks now that keep paraffin at 130 F, used for wax therapy, you dip your hand in & the wax heats your joints - peel the wax off later & toss back in the tank, I'd guess.
