Does anyone know if the A to D convertor on the 16C71x has a
       true sample and hold on the input?  Its not clear to me in the
       documentation if the sampling switch remains closed during
       conversion or if it opens during conversion.  I see that the
       sampling switch closes when the channel is selected and the A
       to D is enabled, but does the sampling switch open when GO is
       set?
