I have a capacitor question.

Please don't laugh, I'm new to this stuff. I design tools. Just got
interested in PICS and electronics here recently.

We have a machine here at work that has several of these caps. I can't
seem to find a direct replacement for them.  They are 1000 v 0.1uf I
have found some that are 3000 v 0.1uf.

My question is can I use 3000 v or must I stay with 1000 v ?
