Perhaps on often overlooked solution is to switch operating systems ;-) Linux or OS/2 have never been infected to my knowledge. Seems to me that is it *always* M$ software or OS's involved some how.... AND NO! I am not trying to start an OS war thread. Just wanted to point out that I haven't used virus software *ever*. I have never had a virus either because I've run OS/2 for over 6 years! Long before I was ever downloading anything off the net. That together with the usual precautions has saved me lots of trouble. I would be a *little* more weary of Linux security, but it seems that with reasonable care, Linux is pretty safe too.
