Me too, however you can set McAfee (the one I use) to be very non-intrusive. I have it set so that I have to force a scan on something in order for it to happen - probably what you want. I also have had it set to scan the whole machine after I go home for the evening. I like it. They used to have Norton installed at one place I worked. In the middle of things, for no apparent reason, it would check to see if there was anything in the floppy. What a pain in the neck! I removed it completely from my machine, thoroughly upsetting the MIS people.
