There was some discussion on frame grabbers and such, I think for security
purposes or tracking for such things..so I was wondering what ever happened
to those projects.

Here is the scoop.  I was talking to a friend, and he was trying to find out
the easiest way to set up a remote camera and be able to take a picture on
demand and then view it remotely on his laptop.

I told him that the easiest would be to use a PC in one form or another,
attach a camera, and run something like PC-Anyway to run it remote.  He is
running a radio link CDMP, or something like this, similar to a packet radio
system or data link running 800MHz and connected to laptops.

So, not shying away from commercial products already in existence, anyone
have any good ideas?
