HI Jim and all others.

I fully agree that the amount of noninteresting 'mails' is too extencive. A newsgroup could be the anwer to the problem. In fact we need some sort of sorting of the messages, perhaps into groups of interest.

For one week I was not able to download; result was 726 messages waiting for my attention. Most off it is really to no use for me. Infact it did result in an infected PC because of my own unawareness (I agree, I did open the HAPPY 99 myself), but if there was some sort of structure in the messages or the list, only messages of interest would come through..

Im not to say if this problem is due to lacking list design or some other invissible matter, but we alle need some sort of structure in the messages. I wonder if some sort of group-id could be implemented into the SUB-field of the mail. Mailfilters will then be able to do the selection.

Im off, I still have some 500 mails to scan.

I like the Piclist a lot - but it's getting quite hefty to download eachday.&n bsp; Is there an argument for setting up a newsgroup for the Pic (maybe
a moderated one to kill the spam?)

It'd be nice not to have to download Happy99.exe for one thing - and the
corresponding avalanche of comment (worse).

The traffic is such that I haven't got time to read it all, and only cherry-pick the interesting stuff - which is what I'd do in a newsgroup.... So is there a case for a newsgroup? Jim
