I got - in any way, a confirmation from the gateway - I didn't expect.

Pleas check your account settings according the answer of my mail to the gateway
administrator to avoid unneccessary list wide confirmations.

I would suggest to filter List-servermessages from to being confirmed.

I would like to do this, but there are just too many different list server systems in place to filter effectively. Our system does allow an account to be set up so that no replies are sent; this is done simply by prepending "nr" to the email address that is subscribed. I suggest you remind the person who subscribed to your list and to my service of this fact.
