The material contained within "The Art" is foundation information and knowledge. In every aspect it can be considered timeless. With knowledge obtained from "The Art" you can easily move onto the more complex and demanding aspects of current technology. The basic text is what is taught in most (if not all) 1st and 2nd year Uni Engineering Degree courses... This is what ever engineer should know...
