I am having a bit of a problem: I have assembled a PicAll programmer from a kit. I believe I have all the componets in the correct location, but am still unable to program my pic. I have a power light, and see the other two leds blink when I try to program, HOWEVER: I can only see them blink when I toggle the "ACK" setting for data-in..eg. The Ack bit is never set. And even when I trick the program, it seemingly reads back 0x3fff. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas? I have verified continunity and the transitor location, resistor locations and values. I am not positive on the diode orientation, but looking at the board, lpt connector side up, and in your left hand, the black line on the diodes D1 and D3 is on the right, and D2 is on the left. I assume the green cap (10n) doesn't have any special orientation. I also have ~30v DC going in to the board. ANY help appreciated! -- Aaron
