I have built a limited one myself. It works fine with software I2C, but does not
reach the full 100khz.  If you want one, I can sell you one for only few bucks.
It connects to the RS232 port which is convenient but also causes the limited
speed problem.

In the near future, I'll build a better one, which supports higher speeds, and
also enables one to initiate transfers, too.

What does the equipment cost that you consider buying?
