Jim, The configuration consists of a Tern V104 SBC acting as the i2c bus master (bit banging software) and 3 PIC16C74 acting as i2c bus slaves. The master polls the slaves every 300 msec. The master also sends a command to the slaves occasionally ( less than 1 per hour).The error occurs about once every 24 hours.
