Of course if you are building production prototypes of something you plan on mass marketing it justifies spending the extra for quality and precision parts. However, if the need is to build a simple experimental model for yourself, them a surplus component would be better. As far as those middle men that jack up prices to make their profits on a single sale to buy their porches, they'll never get me to buy from them. I'll go direct to the factory, but of course we are talking a scenerario where I would need a part for a mass production product. Better yet, I'll invest on my own tooling and make the parts myself.:) Regards, Mario
