Friends,
I am currently using both the PIC
and the HC05 family. I want to expand
by learning a new MCU. I am hoping to
get some advice from anybody that has
experience with these chips: SX, AVR,
Z8, or my favorite SST's "FlashFlex 51".
The FlashFlex has two options for
internal flash: 20K or 36K. Pricing isn't
too bad. A development kit that costs about
$150 US. The AVR and SX look very nice.
I don't know much about the Zilog chip. I
have experience with the AVR and SX (although limited),
but I'm getting ready to invest a good amount
of money in one of these families.
Any advice/comments would be appreciated!!
