Yeh, I've had a similar problemusing pip02 to program a 16c73a using a
programer from DonTronics, I kept getting a fail message as well. After a
while i decided to just keep hitting the program button until it came up with
no errors. At this point in time it takes me about 7 tries (one after the
other)before it finally comes up and says it has programed correctly. The only
problem i have at the moment is that i can't program the oscillator fuse, it
stays set to rc regardless of what i do.
