I've been using inline asy in MPC for (quite) a while without 
problems. I have alsways assumed that a compiler wouldn't 
(shouldn't) touch it.

Lazy bum that I am, I usually put it in a procedure, so I won't 
have to worry about banking too much. There - I admitted it.
