Hi Oliver The company I work for has several hundred surplus EL panels 2 1/2 by 10 inch for $5 each any quantity. They were for laptop screens and glow white. Perhaps colored cellophane to turn them Indiglo for your special effects. I have cut them to size but you need a VERY sharp knife so that you don't squeeze the goo out. Seal the edge wit h tape afterwards. Sometimes It doesn't work.
