When I was at a friend's house the other day I saw
that he had a night light that was actually a 2"x2"
bright blue electroluminescent panel.

I do not have the manufacturer name or product name,
nor do I know what it cost. However, such mass produced
items can often be bought rather cheaply. Anyone else
out there have any info on these panels? If they are
cheap enough, they might make good backlight panels
for LCD displays.
