Most graphics (hollywood style) are designed on SGI puters (I read about one running at 1300Mhz) , which run MUCHO dinero! Intel's CPUs are aimed at the consumer -- so when they have a new chip come out. BUT, while Intel is shipping out 700 Mhz CPUs, Alpha will be shipping 1000 Mhz chips.
