WOuld strongly suggest contacting one of the big battery companies like Eagle Pitcher and request one of their booklets on batteries, chargers, discharge curves, etc. You will need to know a number of things up front, like battery capacity, temperature, discharge rate as a percentage of capacity, etc. Measuring and summing the current and voltage is easy in comparison. Its the chemistry of the battery that will give you the most problems. Both Mouse and DigiKey should be able to get you battery literature on the lines they carry. **************************************************************************** ******** All legitimate attachments to this email will be clearly identified in the text.
