Glue the part to the board, then run it > through the Wave solder machine. Definitely works for SMT resistors and such. The orientation of the part with repsect to the direction of travel through the wave matters a lot, and a good solder mask is needed, too. But solder bridges are not the only issue, there is also the question of whether the parts can withstand the temperature profile of being waved versus being reflowed. The data sheets for the parts give a max temperature / time spec. That may tell the assembler clearly that it will (or won't) work.
