I'd like to set up an experimental arrangement with a 14-bit PIC,
say a 12C671. The analog input would be a 0-5 VDC pot, and the
output would be a phase controlled trigger for a triac.
Adjusting the pot would move the phase of the triac trigger to
control the intensity of a lamp. I don't want to use PWM, the
lamp must operate from the AC line.

Does anyone know of a resource for assembly language routines
to do this? Any suggestions gratefully accepted.
