I did ADC-Serial to a PC at 115 KBaud about ten years ago, and know that part works. Other than problems with Part 15 and the FCC (test and prototype units are exempt) and figuring out how to put an antenna on the outside of a conductive carbon fiber shaft, I would be very interested in hearing about the "a lot more" part. We plan on picking up a couple of RFM's demo boards and doing our initial testing with them, then moving to an integrated system. Most likely we will be using a MAX186 for the ADC and a PIC16Cxxx with SPI and USART support in hardware for the controller since we already have a system running with similar parts over a serial interface into a PC. Any suggestions, experiences, or other hints & Kinks you can pass on would be sincerely appreciated! On or off the list.
