Sorry for the slightly off topic post.

A while back, when it didn't matter to me :),
there was a brief discussion on software which
would enable the combining of multiple circuit
board images on a single panel.  I have a board
which is about 1.5" x 1.75", ( Yes it uses a PIC).

I would like to make a large panel with a number
of boards per panel.  Can anyone point me to
software, Preferably freeware or shareware,
which will allow copy and paste editing of
Gerber files or some other way of accomplishing
this task?
