As for power required, don't know about your neck of the earth, but here the FCC limits power levels and a sig gen to swamp out the transmitters wouldn't have to be that big. Just dropping the resistor and making a transmitter put out 4 or so times the legal level is really all you need. And anyway, a good thief simply leaves the alarm alone and sets it off. A month or so of "random" no problem alarms and the police stop coming. Really only takes a few days for that to happen.. They assume it's a garage door or something, even if that's not really a possibility. Wireless Forever. Neither technology is THAT good! They're both only capable of keeping out the ineptly dishonest folks. I'd bet that most of the folks on this list could get through most alarms with relatively little study, judging from the generally intelligent replies..
