Hallo!
There had accured the following problem: I have to create conrol desk
for
car's steering wheel device on PIC 16C73.
- Which would be the most sutable engine for kturning the steering
wheel?
- Is PIC enough safe for this reason?
- What have to be taken in consideration writing this programme?
- Where can I get information on car's electronic control devices?
(steering wheel, brake system etc)
Thanking you in advance, I take this oportunity to send you my very
best
regards,

What are you attempting to do here? Are you trying to control hydraulics
to turn the wheels? SAAB had a go at this some time back with interesting
results. It seems that the intention to remove the driver from "The road
feel" is not what people are after and they had to add false road feel to
the wheel.
As for the controller, any that is certified by the manufacturer for
"life supprt" will nominally do, but that's not half the problem in that
you have to add some form of mechanical control in case of failure, these
will be some design rule requirement (Just like that stupid one that says
the accelerator must be cable driven) This is all interesting stuff as no
one wants to be responsable for driver death (Yes I know of the arguments
for airplanes and fly by wire).
I hope that you have good defensive programming tatics
