I love it - a Scenix without any virtual peripherals! > That'll save him a lot of coding time Virtual coding! I am looking at building up a few 'standard' routines first. Stuff like 16*16, 16 div 16, PortOut, PortIn, BitOut, BitIn etc. A collegue pointed out that Boolean variables (I love 'em) will be real hard to optimise. SOme of the variables like loop counters etc. will have to be local (SX) memory. Arrays and variables used less often will go into the RAM. This is a good time to perfect the 'dirty flag' with regards to the code memory. -- Friendly Regards /"\ \ / Tjaart van der Walt X ASCII RIBBON CAMPAIGN mailto:tjaart@wasp.co.za / \ AGAINST HTML MAIL |--------------------------------------------------| | WASP International | |R&D Engineer : GSM peripheral services development| |--------------------------------------------------| | Mobile : tjaart@sms.wasp.co.za (160 text chars) | | http://www.wasp.co.za/~tjaart/index.html | |Voice: +27-(0)11-622-8686 Fax: +27-(0)11-622-8973| | WGS-84 : 26¡10.52'S 28¡06.19'E | |--------------------------------------------------|
