Anyone have a favorite D/A?  As discussed previously, I am working on a
project with fixed pre-recorded voice.  My approach is to have a PIC
drive the address lines of an EPROM which then drives a D/A, LPF and
power amplifier.  Right now I'm looking at a low cost Analog Devices
parallel in, voltage out, 8 bit D/A.  I wonder about perhaps using one
with u Law encoding or perhaps a built-in LPF for voice applications.
        Any ideas?
