My long goal is to built a serial interface board that include a pic, one RS232 line to communicate with the PC and four RS232 to communicate to the target system ( 4 units). The pic's job will be to direct communication to unit 1 when it sees the command "UNIT1" and to unit 2 when it sees the command "UNIT2" and so fort.
