Why not invest in YOUR future.  You are bound to want to program other
chips soon.  Farnell (Leeds) sell Picstart+ for 109 Pounds Sterling inc
VAT. (Probably $109 by the normal exchange rate). It will save you
having to buy a ZX80 programmer.

I have been poor once - go for it - you will make it pay if you are
serious.

Dont expect miracles from a cheap beginners item, however good and
cheap.

Think positive.  Learning is a great asset.
