For hobbyists try the fluffy programmer (= a PIC16f84, a 12V supply and
2 transistors) from www.codepuppies.com/~ben/sens/pix/sx with the
JAL compiler from www.xs4all.nl/~wf/wouter/pic/jal.
Both free.....
