What's the bandwidth of your scope? That's a major determinant as well.
I won't do logic with less than a 100MHz front end.  20 is survivable I
guess, but the edges won't be as clear.

It is a 20 MHz trio and its called a syncroscope... Hmmm you might be right... I
 need a new scope... Anyone have one for sale ?

The probe is a 1:10. I don't know if that is good or bad... I'm a 'just' program
