Tech support is fantastic (e-mail several times a day sometimes). Supports all 12-bit and 14-bit core chips. Uses internal PLL for OSC frequency. _VERY_ good interface. Quick change of emulation makes multi-project support very easy. My recommendation for the RICE17 is to negate all the above comments: It is expensive, tech support is horrible if you get any at all, supports all the chips (even the 17C) [OK, so they have _one_ advantage], requires external parts for anything but a handful of frequencies, and the IDE is counter-intuitive. You must also open the unit up to change emulations. Andy
