Bob,

I installed the adobe plug-in into my Adobe Exchange plug-in directory,
instead of the Adobe Reader plug-in directory.  I can now download the PDF's
and then save them from withing Exchange to a PDF file.  This allows me to
take the PDF's home and view them there.  This doesn't solve the
download-from-single-pc problem, but it does solve the view-from-single-pc
problem.
