I hate to ask...but I know there are some or maybe some ex OrCad users. Version 2.00 is from around 1989, and I have been using it for the last 10 years, moving it from one machine to the next. So, I picked up a little 486 HP laptop, and have been moving all my engineering software to it from the desktop 486 I was using. Problem is...when I try to run it, I get an error saying 'program too big for memory'. Runs fine on the other machine, and in fact I have more memory on the laptop than the desktop. Did the mem/c to see what is loaded, and I have more available program space on the laptop. So...is anyone using/used this, and seen this before? draft.exe runs just fine. I suppose I could use something less ancient, but I don't have alot of time to spin up on new PCB software these days. Unless there is something very easy to spin up on. Worse comes to worse, I'll keep that machine up and running till I migrate or figure this out. thanks in advance.
