Subject: Time: 9:50 AM Tutorial on PIC16F84 3/15/99 Date: Dear Friends, I had quite a time learning the PIC16F84, even gave up for a stretch and then came back to it. I tried to keep track of what confused me so much and wrote it all out in my own words to try and clarify it for myself. It is combined with a temperature datalogging project and goes from the most elementary ideas to things like I2C, RS232 and communication with a DS1820. It is quite succinct and not meant to replace introductory books, but you may find it useful. David Tait was kind enough to post it at http://www.man.ac.uk/~mbhstdj/files/picprog.html Thanks to David and all who have posted material from which I learned, (and am still learning). Stan
