HI ALL.

I have a 4xsomthing alpha numeric display that I pulled out of an old card
swiper. My problem is identifying the inputs, it is not back lit so there are
14 unknowns in two 7 wire ribbons.

Does anyone have experience or ideas about identifying the inputs without
causing damage to the display?.

It seems a waste not to use it, but would it be better just to throw it?.
