Try spraying conformal coat >onto the suspect areas first to see if that affects operation. > >dwayne Hmm I suspected this too as the problem seems to occur just after the time moisture forms - but by inspection there dosent seem to be any contacts being made also I've tried conformal coatings - both a resin and a simpler laquer - they both do it. The pins next to CLKIN are at Vcc and so is CLKOUT so I would have expected CLKIN to go too high rather then too low. Nic
