Hello Vincent, there are 2 MOS transistors on the market (quite old), called BS 170 and BS 250 respectively. They can handle this with ease, and they come in a TO-92 package. I don't know if there is a SMD type out for then yet, but I reckon on there being one. Also, have a look at some cross-reference-lists for newer replacements in SMD for these 2 darlings. They were widely used in machines in games arcades, and were used for switching - guess what?? - and they even are rather fast. The one is an N type and the other a P type. Pick the one for your application and it should work. They even were quite affordable, below 1 Mark (0,60 cents US) in quantities of a 100.
