It is large, but it is essentially free. I don't know about the downloadable version, but the paid-for version that I have allows selective insallation of the different modules. I say Altera because their schematic drawing package is possibly the most intuitive and probably the easiest to use of any schemo packages I have ever used. I think that the downloadable version is called 'PLSWEB 9.01' or something very similar to that.
