Doesn't sound like a good idea on the surface, but there exists the "network
time protocol" that can synchronize clocks on distributed computers on an
internet to within "on the order of a millisecond", which is pretty cool.
(Much better than your on-board clock can do.)  You might as well not trust
WWB or the phone company number.
