Hi guys, Well, since I've decide to go with C instead of assembler and the only compiler I can afford is the CCS compiler and the CCS compiler doesn't yet support the PIC17, I'm going to develop on the PIC16x84 for awhile. The Easy PIC'n book recommends a simple "PIC on a board circuit". I thought I would build that circuit to make experimenting easy but I also thought I would throw in an In Circuit Programmer all on the same board. Can someone recommend the simplest programmer to add to this board for the PIC16x84 ? I know there are a lot of them out there .. here's the catch though. Since it appears the CCS compiler integrates with MPLAB, it sure would be nice to have an ICSP that could be used from MPLAB. Is this even possible ? TIA, Eric
