I'm sure it could "emulate" all sorts of things too because the computer is doing all the work. It has enough buffer to keep writing the sheet as long as the computer is doing *nothing* else at the time and doesn't get stuck too often with disk accesses or whatever in which case - well you throw out the sheet and start again.
